Hollow Star Table Runner

Cheryl will show you how to make this huge bag to haul practically anything! 20" tall x 18" wide x 12" deep. This is a Sunday class but the 3rd class is on a Saturday.

Teen Sew Camp

Students will select 3-5 fabrics for their quilts at the 1st class. They will be precut for the 2nd class. Students will learn to sew squares together into rows and then into a top. Students will learn to layer, baste, and finish. Students must have taken the Get To Know Your Sewing Machine Jr class in order to take this class. OR They must know how to operate a machine on their own - thread a needle, make a bobbin, change a needle, and use the machine. Parents will drop off student at class and pickup. There will not be room for them to stay during class.

Have a sewing machine and not sure where to start? Bring it to one of these 3 hour classes and get to know your machine. You will learn its basic parts and how to thread the machine, how to adjust tension and why it's so important, and basic cleaning and troubleshooting techniques. You will make a sample stitch cloth out of the various stitches your machine is capable of and what they're used for. You will also get a lesson on the different types of thread available on the market and their uses. You will also go over machine needles too.
