Beginner Quilting with Diane - 1 SPOT LEFT IN TUESDAY MORNING CLASS! - Sep 17, 2024 09:30 am
Learn to make a baby/lap size quilt from beginning to end - color theory, rotary cutting skills, piecing, pressing, borders, quilting, binding. A working sewing machine and working knowledge of the machine are the only requirements. Once you've got the basics from this course you can then move on to more complicated patterns and projects. This is an 8 week course for students who need a brush up or who are new to quilting!!! . 4 students max per class.
Cost: $ 185.00

This is a 1 day workshop where Diane will show you some simple techniques to get you comfortable and in the groove to finding your best pattern! Discuss basic design shapes, simple fill designs, needle, thread and batting suggestions. Learn how to start and stop. Practice using the hopping foot for moving in all directions and the walking foot for straight or slightly curved lines.

Deb Brazil will be back again for another volunteer day on Saturday, October 19 for anyone who wants to sign up to make a quilt top for the Q.O.V. organization. It's FREE and the sew-in is 10am-4pm. OR you can pick up a quilt top kit at my store that day and have it back by the completion date. Sign up on the website as you would a class and the cost is $0.
